7. Bodies and the miracles of welfare
There was nothing to restore anymore because everything was continually being rearranged. The mouths were placed on the side of the head, fingers were stitched together on the chin, blindness was no longer a problem but rather an aesthetic decision: a monstrous reckoning, an antigen army of empathy. “What is one good for?” It was then that the Assembly appeared (the Gathering was done away with for it was too small to handle the ever-growing needs of the Community) and there was now talk that made sense and gave hope; alas, it was addressed to an earlier or alternate version of the bodies forming the Assembly. And thus it came to pass: disassembled within the Assembly.
